I often hear from patients after clinic hours about their friends and family members having skin issues. I am here to share with you that blemishes are inevitable and will always be a part of your life. Now for the promising news, we don't have to look like a pimple face teenager all our lives.

It's always best to see your Dermatologist and their esthetician on staff for the most comprehensive care. When that is not available to you I highly recommend the Avene line. They have two powerhouse products in their acne arsenal and a third product for hydration. Products are not a quick easy fix and 9 times out of 10 your skin will purge and become temporarily worse before it gets better. Instead of listening to sales associates at Ulta and Sephora and spending money on products that offer a quick fix invest in Avene Triacneal Day, Triacneal Night and Avene Hydrance. Use them as directed with a foundational cleanser that will not dry or strip the fragile acid mantle on the skin. You can't "dry" up acne as that will produce more oil. More oil equals more problems...

The Cover Up...

 You did your weekly deep cleansing mask to keep that face of yours in tip-top condition but you ended up with one of those oddly placed underground pimples.
