A client of mine in her early 20's recently asked me when she should start using eye cream. What a great question! I am all about creating healthy habits so my belief is that it's never to early to start!!! There is the just one caveat...don't spend a lot of money on it when you're in your early 20's. Here's a quick way to remember how much to spend...
In your 20's DON"T spend over 20 bucks. My reasoning here is that you're not into the anti-aging era in your life when it come to the eye area. Let your daily sunscreen do the work for you! We want to create the daily am/pm habit so that in your 30's you won't be playing the catch up game. An inexpensive OTC (over the counter) brand is the way to go. Something simple and hydrating is perfect!
In your 30's start to drop a little more $$$. This is the time to start looking for eye creams that include a retinol and or growth factors. These will range between 65 to 85 dollars. Only purchase these from a reputable Dr's office.
Us girls that are over 40 need to drop a few more dollars to keep the eye area looking good! Look for eye creams that include the retinol, growth factor and the new latest and greatest heparan sulfate https://www.sentelabs.com/. These will range from 75 to 125 dollars.
